KNOLL Maschinenbau GmbH is not only a specialist for conveyor systems, filter systems and pumps – automation is another business area where the company based in Bad Saulgau has a lot to offer. This was evident at AMB 2024, where, in addition to flexible conveyor systems, KNOLL also presented the brand new, in-house developed Click.it system. It transmits information effortlessly and efficiently at the touch of a button. Perfect for setting processes in production and intralogistics in motion quickly and simply.

KNOLL initially developed the digital information system to meet its own requirements. After it had been tried and tested for many years in its own production and assembly facilities, the persons responsible decided to also offer Click.it to other companies. There was massive interest in this product at the KNOLL trade fair stand.

This should be of no surprise because Click.it represents everything that constitutes future-oriented technology – from an attractive design to simple installation through to user-friendly operation. In order to meet all these needs, Click.it offers the option of customising pushbuttons with different functions, which allows the user to carry out a large number of tasks much easier than ever before.

The right solution for every application

The Click.it hardware and software is available in three versions, which can be individually adapted to simple or complex requirements. The Click.it Pro meets almost every requirement. It features an easy-to-read display with intuitive user interface as well as five programmable pushbuttons. The system can be flexibly adapted to the respective workplace requirements.

The display delivers real-time information and status messages so that the user can communicate efficiently and respond quickly where required. Click.it Pro can be configured flexibly for the respective application via a web app. It is perfect, for example, for issuing material requirements to production and assembly quickly and simply. With Click.it Pro production processes can also be optimised so that supply bottlenecks are reduced and delivery deadlines are adhered to. Click.it One is the compact version of the Click.it Pro and is suitable for specific tasks in areas with limited space. With one click the user generates a driving job for an automated guided vehicle (AGV), for example, thus ensuring efficient movement of materials. Sending messages to specific recipients or making calls are never more than a click away.

Click.it Connect is available if advanced options are required for incoming and outbound functions. It enables the seamless integration of the Click.it in other communication systems. There is the built-in device in the control cabinet for monitoring parking spaces for automated guided vehicles (AGVs), for example, thus contributing to optimal buffer use. The status monitoring of a roller shutter/door is also another application that is implemented.

Setup and optimisation of the Click.it is a piece of cake: The user simply scans the QR code and they are connected to the software interface on the web. There the user can customise the device and configure any flows and automations. With simple inputs, processes are automated, workflows monitored and performance data analysed. And, have no fear, Click.it saves all data securely on the respective customer server. This means maximum data protection.
